For patients & physiotherapists
Rehabilitation protocols
Whether treated surgically or not, your injury gets better with guided rehabilitation. These protocols are a guide for you and your physiotherapist. Some patients need personal modifications.
Using your protocol
Each protocol explains what you can do at each stage of your recovery, when physiotherapy starts, which movements are permitted, and when strengthening begins. Take it to your physiotherapist and bring it to your follow-up appointments.
- Avoid pain and sharp, sudden movements.
- Focus on control, posture and gradual progression, not speed.
- Regular physiotherapy reviews keep recovery safe and steady.
